GREECE and the 300 Spartans vs Persian Empire

Thermopylae, a battle that was historic in particular the 300 Spartans who fought with such devotion to escape the high hand of the persan  empire.In that time Greece was a combination of Independence states each with its own leadership and weapons. Greece was in constant battle with the Persian empire that threatens to get into Europe and Greece was the gateway to the world as desired by the Persians.
Persian Empire at that time was the force that spread fear and brutality 5-3 centuries but the way these powerful Greek state armed state who knew how to prepare their people and especially how to make hundreds of thousands of Persian soldiers lose confidence in them. In 480 BC. The Persian king raise an army of over 300,000 people in Greece and passes through the northern and southern part of the fleet in conquering city after city and obliging to let the Greeks to gather at one side and hate to raise an army to stop Persian invasion, the Greeks gather an army of 7,000 troops plus 300 Spartans led by King Leonidas even set out to stop the advancing Persians.
The two armies meet at a place called Thermopylae-known for its summer gates of hell fire which they offered at that time, Greeks led by Leonidas with 300 Spartans and the deal even in passing and immediately into their held the position of waiting for the big fight the Persian army was to attack and start to begin .Persans among Greek and Spartan but they reject each and kills over Persian  causing great damage so invincible Persian army and undertake.
Seeing that resistance just as powerful more powerful, but Persians attack with great ease and give back losses are brave Spartans and Greeks who does not give any palm of land .After  three days of attacks, and Persian heavy casualties receiving aid even from a Greek soldier who was expelled from the camp they go fast and show Persians a way through the mountains was about to lead the Persians even behind the Greek lines and so happened Leonidas Spartan and Greek
The situation then became very difficult for the Greeks and Spartans, Leonidas sent back to Athens and Greek forces that still remained with those who remained from the 300 Spartans and they continued fighting at the end of day three Thermopylae Leonidas falls but remains a real lesson in history as the Greeks and Spartans show fight. Persians at Thermopylae after huge losses have continued on to conquer Greece but the Greek army have not met them or have retired and drew on the Persians in a battle at sea where they made one with the water
